We inform our user that starting 07:00 CET on March 11, 2009 we will upgrade our servers. Presumably the whole operation will take about two hours and in the meanwhile all our sites will be unreachable from the Internet or some services will slow down and have temporary failures. We apologize to our users for any possible discomfort.

Updated our experimental site tailored to pda, smartphones, mobile phones or other similar handheld devices. There's now a new browser to access all local weather information, directly saving the favourite location into user's preferences. Moreover we added some new ports and improved the calculation routine of tides in Central Mediterranean

2007/12/28   METEOSAT UPGRADE
To comply with the latest Eumetsat request we started the upgrading of satellite images from the traditional 9-secotrs scheme to the new gographical scheme. Eumetsat is the european organization which manages the Meteosat satellites. During the transient period it's possible that some images or movies could be unavailable

Eumetsat restored the feed of Meteosat 9 (MSG2) satellite images which were temporarily replaced on December 3 by Meteosat 8 (MSG1) images owing to a programmed spacecraft maintenance
